A warning about Kauai - it *is* Paradise. No camera ever invented, or ever to be invented, can capture the beauty. A local artist came close - three of his paintings now adorn our living room walls. After screening 6 photo CD's, we came up with 25 'too good to omit' photos. Too many. So, forgive Roger for pulling his favorites.

We stayed at the Ali ikai near Princeville. We had a short walk Westward to the Pali Coast, or the short drive East to Waimea (Yes, 626, Kauai is really that small). The people aren't - they have huge hearts, and we felt welcome wherever we went. Ohana and Aloha are alive and well on Kauai.

Mornings and evenings (if we were in) we'd pop out onto the lanai and count the waterfalls flowing down the mountainside. Sometimes only one, once as many as fourteen. Beautiful. Peaceful. Paradise.

We did the usual touristy things - a helicopter ride (a Must, and not too expensive), Kayaking, a hike, and lots of resting and relaxing. Paradise. And so, without even further ado- the pictures that speak for themselves...
