Kauai - The Garden Island

The Hydrofest was definitely a blast. We made it to both days. Ah, the hardship- nothing to do but recline in the sun, rainbow overhead, a cool breeze coming in off the surf, the - well, you get the picture.

They had a car show, the races themselves, parachutists, a stunt pilot, etc.

They even had the old U-8 - sad to say I remember when the U-8 was the top of the line in Hydro racing... (Karen sez [grin] that she is much too young to ever have seen the U-8).

The jetski races were great- hmm, wonder if Karen will let me race next year...
